   Pack 28 Scout is Keynote Speaker 

The Good Scout Award was presented to James E. Ryan, Executive Director of the Shelton Economic Development Corporation.  Mr. Ryan served as the chairman of the 80th. Anniversary Scouting in Action Static Air Display and serves as a member of the council nominating committee.

The event was attended by 130 persons at Lauretti's Pierpont Taverne in Shelton.  Patrick Charmel, President of Griffin Health Services, provided leadership to the committee which conducted the successful event.

The event raised $10,000 for the Housatonic Council and another $1,000 was donated to the endowment fund as a James E. West Award in honor of Jim Ryan.

Nine year old Cub Scout Bobby G. of Pack 28, Den 1, Shelton was the keynote speaker at the event.
